KERIS 9 This is a Lombok keris with a five wave blade and pamor
lintang kemukus.
The wrongko is the kojongan style which in previous times was usually
worn by young men. The atasan of this wrongko has been cleverly cut to
display an attractive pattern in the grain. It has a burnished finish, and
does carry some minor bruising associated with wear.
The danganan is the loncengan style, and is wound with black fibre,
supposedly to afford a better grip when soaked with blood. An old wewer
set with coloured pastes is fitted.
This is a simple, but comparatively scarce style of keris.
